needs

The developmental needs of a developing country like India are incomprehensive to enumerate. One argument recently came to fore is Government gives a monthly pension of min 500 per month for needy, who don’t have any other source of lively hood. This makes the individual lives on an expenditure of 20 Rs daily which is far below the standard for even the BPL. The point here is government supports the person with an amount of Rs 20 and it is not to certify that this is the only amount for subsistence. Then how the other amount required is earned is out of scope for government and our study.

The minimum needs of individual even in the far remote corner of our country are basic needs food, cloth, shelter, secondary needs education, health, freedom. Tertiary needs are social and cultural like functions marriage, birth, death, festivities etc. The popular needs doing round nowadays for measuring development are, life expectancy, infra development, surplus to spend, connectivity, access to information and participation in main stream of social political fabric of the nation.

All the needs if need to be measured in terms of monetary measures, for a set point of time, amounts to the study of developmental needs. For a country as vast and vivid like India the task is enormous. The country has resources and required manageability to meet this for say 2025 or 2050, provided the inequality in income distribution at individual or family level is considered and steps taken to reduce the disparity. Yes, for India to be branded from underdeveloped to developing country tag did not come in a day, same way instead of continuous improvement , thought should be given to break through step for development, which makes the tag of developed India true and realistic not only for statistical purpose but in real sense to every individual in the country. The time has come now to consider steps like green revolution, white revolution, say industrial revolution education revolution. The onus of development now should not rest with government or executive parliament, but all capable country men should be part of this revolution and seek only guide lines from the government. The steps followed by other nations and history may or may not help us devise the tools as the conditions in India are truly unique. For this instead of a leader of mass charisma active participant group leaders are required. To start with, let us think at individual level, we will not only think of wealth creation alone but also equitable distribution of wealth and resources by providing opportunity to all. We have to take the capable group into our net now and expand this to cover all.

struggle

The point of interest in present day life is not struggle for existence but struggle for public presence.
Present day aspiration is not only to live happily but pretend to be happy if noticed by world , catching lime light. People in public life, eminent persons of fame in different fields like arts, sports , theater all cannot live if the public attention is lost. This is because of information revolution where in world shrink to small web with flow of information in real time. This gave to other dimension to being popular. In real terms people want to hide their real life from public graze but want positive things to be appreciated by all. The other negative aspect which rose is achieve this at any cost even being by notorious for bad reasons. The attention obtained, people feel will help them douse their desire of being famous.

Creating for services

I have a long term plan of transforming India and Indian attitude towards living in this world.
It is not only development or the tag of developed nation that will make all happy. It is the inherent attitude to live selfless, happily with others that will make us developed nation on social front. The gap between haves and have-nots is required to be bridged, that can be done only when people think of others. I would like first to carry out a study on development needs of our people if they have to be socially developed by lets say2020. For this what is our infra needs, food needs, tech needs, health needs, social needs etc and ho to provide them and who is responsible to provide. These are to be studied by individual or an organization. The draft approach has to be put to a empowered committee for gradual implementation. In this approach more than government NGO's and mass support and action are required. For example let’s not plan to increase tele-density, is it so important or two have a 200 channel cable connection. The people need basics like food, even before food the capacity to earn their livelihood, education, shelter, health, and then infrastructure in this order. In present setup all this are responsibilities of government. But what is the contribution of people. Why not NGO’s and mass public, who have resources, help the lending hand to others in achieving this massive task. At present NGO’s who are in the business of education and health are just in business. So the main purpose is not solved.

Strike-Right to protest or right to trouble customers

One of the most epidemic practices used in India is to go on or declare strike. It is the tool in hand of all service providers to fight for their demands. It is not pertinent to mention whether they are legitimate or not as the scope of this post doesn’t cover that. They want to take the customers who are paying for their service to get troubled and then help them achieve their goal.
The point here to under stand is any service or product will die its death in long run if it doesn’t meet the user’s expatiations. But some essential services though not meeting the above requirement are continued to be patroned by user’s out of compulsion like health services and transport. But in reality the users are not party to the demands of the providers but only a third party. They are not at any fault in this whole gamut. But the service providers curtail their service in short time at high rate, so as the effect is visible on the users. Actual parties like governments, owners, who have to meet the demands are not affected.
Now for the remedy to this aliments.
If the service providers are taking users or patrons to task, why not we also take the same. Let’s take them to task by declaring counter strike on any service that go on strike. It is the same if they don’t provide us service or we don’t use their service. Our action also should be at same speed and quantum so that effect is felt. As a caution, let me say, why not we use only alternatives on the days of counter strike. For example if buses are on strike we are troubled, but we some how use alternatives and come out of our extreme emergency needs. Then in the same way after the bus strike is over let the users declare counter strike on buses and not use them for a day or two till they are taught a lesson, while using alternatives. Example on counter strike day of buses lets use own vehicle or auto or use private bus or train and best is to not to plan travel at all. But for coordination of this task, has to be done by some one. This is a definite counter to all who plan a strike next time. Let’s plan same for all those who declare nation wide or state bund. Actually they should do bund or stop activities of the concerned official or government not the common public who suffer for no fault of them.

Panacea

It is hearting to note that India is still affected by QUIT INDIA and NONCOOPERATION Movement even after 63 years of Independence. In India the Indians are still following "QUIT INDIA and NON CO OPERATION Movement ".

The Indian elite, the educated and the people who can change India for better, are looking for their own better and follow "QUIT INDIA ". Use all the resources of India, like get best education from IIT's NIT's and IIM's, gain knowledge and look for green postures for selfish gains by QUIT INDIA and use their skill dedication etc to develop the other nations and get paid. They are not to be blamed as the systems in India will not give them the required environment.

And for "NON CO OPERATION Movement "every second line eligible Indian left in India, look for a Bureaucratic Governmental job and practice NON Co Operation to stop every development work showing rules, systems, develop corrupt practices. The Mass or not concerned as they are happy with selling their one time Vote once in five years for Rs 500 or some cheap liquor. Not that they are not politically active. It is the learned who are politically in inactive. And masses are active for all bad politics like corruption, castism, nepotism.

The option left now is self discipline which Mahatma Gandhi advocated. Follow the opposite of "QUIT INDIA and NON CO OPERATION Movement” for development of nation, leaving selfishness. All elite and capable people should sever the nation and masses compulsorily for development from grass root level. The employed are responsible for providing the required atmosphere and infrastructure by leaving all the bad things explained above. They should be part of political system to elect the “good” and now we will get real independence. This will solve all problems encountering India as PANACEA.
